Bio

Livia Nieves, a NYC artist, was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Not only has she attended Lehman College, but she has also taught for the Lehman College Art Department and the Continuing Education Department for the past 10 years. Her first traces of art became public with her second CUNY web site design during 1997. Since then, she has continued designing educational websites for CUNY. From 2004 to the present, she has exhibited her graphic design work yearly at the Lehman College Art Gallery. She has also participated in various group shows with the HVG Art Group at Hudson View Gardens, at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center and at the UBS Cultural Fine Art Gallery. Digital media design and mixed media are her favorite mediums of artistic expression.
