These can be customized or combined to best suit your needs. I can provide instruction structured for continued regular sessions with learning exercises, or I can provide short one-time sessions to address specifics needs with an emphasis on personal project development and completion.
GRAPHICS
- Adobe Photoshop basics (includes basic overview and use of tools, scanning, retouching, preparing images for printing, preparing images for the web, preparing graphics for use in multimedia ).
- Page layout and shape design with Adobe Illustrator.
- Integration of Photoshop with Adobe Illustrator.
- Adobe Imageready for the specific creation of optimized images for the web and simple gif animations. Learn how to use and integrate Image Ready into your Web-design workflow.
- Restoration of damaged and discolored photographs. Retouching and removing imperfections (wrinkles, powerlines, extra people, etc). Making dull, drab images come to life
Tutorials are $30/hour.
- XHTML are markup tags that tell the Web browser how to display a web page.
Tutorials are $15/hour.
- CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. Styles define how to display HTML elements. CSS is a breakthrough in Web design because it allows developers to control the style and layout of multiple Web pages all at once.
Tutorials are $25/hour.
DREAMWEAVER
- Create websites from start to finish. Maintain basic to advanced pages that support best practices and the latest technologies. Integrate XHTML and CSS to create professional looking websites.
Tutorials are $35/hour.
GENERAL TERMS
Hourly rate of instruction is for one on one sessions. Please review the information presented here thoroughly before committing to a session. Also, I will be happy to discuss your needs in advance to determine if I can help you. Unless otherwise stated or agreed upon, all learning materials should be considered as protected by copyright. I reserve the right to decline tutoring to anyone for any reason.
FOR INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION
All instruction is charged at an hourly rate. All sessions are billed at a 2 hour minimum, and can be scheduled for longer. Tutoring session appointments and prepayment is required.
I'm also available for website projects and image editing.
