You should not rely on a lab computer to keep all your files saved. Files are constantly erased from the lab computers to keep the best performance on the macintosh system. Points will be taken out of your projects if you didn't keep a back up of your files in any type of storage device and your files disappeared from your lab computer.

Students will need one of the following storage devices:

>>Choice number one:

128MB USB Drive--$25.99 or SanDisk 256MB Cruzer Micro--$39.99

* Please notice that this usb storage drive is made by many different companies and it may vary in
style and look.
You may find it at Staples, CompUSA, Circuit City, Best Buy and any other computer related stores.
This device can be use in both macitosh and pcs. All you need to have is a USB port available in your computer.

>>Choice number two:

CD-R media / Regular CDs
**Please make sure to buy the cheapest CDs you may find since you will need to use one for each class.
Do not buy the re-writeables CDS since they cost more and we do not have the software necessary towrite on them more than once. You will need to bring more than one CDfor each class since
sometimes they become easely damaged.
